Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driving role in Miami, TX. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while upholding our values of integrity and teamwork.

This full-time position offers a $19.00/hour pay rate, weekly pay, and a schedule of Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check conducted per applicable laws.
• Background histories considered in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, construction zones, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following emergency protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs and communicate observations to supervision.

As a Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, construction zones, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate observations or maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
