Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Delphi, IN. You will serve clients, perform vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor areas, and report security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic and report hazards or suspicious activity to site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving post. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the location and report hazards, policy concerns, or suspicious activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
