Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Delphi, Indiana. This role offers flexible, dependable hours with a fixed shift and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.25 per hour with a daytime schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Responsibilities include customer service, responding to incidents, and conducting regular patrols at a production site in adherence to site policies.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, employee entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately through required reports and logs.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Delphi, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
