Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Driver for Unarmed Patrol Response in Delphi, IN. You will provide security coverage at a food production/warehouse site, performing routine patrols and ensuring safety and access control while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening. CPR is preferred and shift coverage includes Mon-Sun 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

As a Security Officer Driver for Unarmed Patrol Response in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
