Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Maple Grove, MN to safeguard clients across multiple sites. You will perform routine patrols, deter incidents with a visible presence, respond to alarms, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to policies.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, technical comfort with computers, and the ability to work a 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule. Background checks and a drug screen apply.

Qualifications

• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate with site leadership.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, document activity, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to use your communication and computer skills while representing a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, technology spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access through a visible presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
