Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Driver Patrol in Minneapolis, MN to provide passenger and site security at a transportation location. You will perform routine patrols, verify access, handle alarms, and deliver exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s values.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas and other assigned locations, report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials, directing authorized individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
• Deter unauthorized activity through visible patrols and timely reporting of security concerns.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, access points, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and assist with directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible patrols, professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
