Allied Universal in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver (Part Time) to protect guests and property at a hotel and resort location.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required, per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by applying security procedures and site policies, including emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel/resort buildings, guest areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to guest concerns and incidents calmly and professionally, escalating as per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and activity; report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation per Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $20.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel/resort buildings, guest areas, parking areas, recreational amenities, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.
