Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver overnights in Milan, IL. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and deliver exceptional customer service to employees and visitors in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to operate a computer or tablet, and strong attention to security procedures. Schedule includes overnights with a weekly pattern and compensation at $19.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include valid driver's license according to policy.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 19 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Background histories considered per laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify visitor credentials, and report unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity by maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Overnights in Milan, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity by maintaining a visible presence and promptly reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
