Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials and visitor authorizations.
• Control entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials per site procedures; escalate discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, offices, and perimeter to identify concerns.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials in accordance with site procedures, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and facility conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
