As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and following site access protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
