Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Field Reporting in Boise, ID. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service at a technology, media, and telecom location.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 2 years of security experience, and the ability to operate a computer or tablet. Shifts include DayTime with a Monday–Saturday schedule and a pay rate of $21.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess supervisory experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, vendors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain accurate logs of entries, exits, deliveries, and occurrences.
• Respond to incidents and alarms; notify appropriate personnel and document incidents.
• Report hazards or security concerns to site leadership and management.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, or telecommunications-related location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, construction work areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs of entries, exits, deliveries, and unusual occurrences.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Report hazards, damaged property, unauthorized persons, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess supervisory experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred candidates are able to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
