Job summary

Allied Universal in Wichita, KS is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver to safeguard clients at aerospace/defense locations through driving and on-foot patrols. You will deter incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain clear reports following site protocols.

The full-time role offers evening shifts (Thu–Sun, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM) with a pay rate of $15.50 per hour, plus opportunities for growth and benefits. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.
