Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Mona, UT. The position involves unarmed patrols, visible presence, access control, and excellent customer service at a retail location.

A valid driver’s license is required, with age 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles. The role offers flexible daytime night shifts and opportunities to learn our Claim a Shift platform, with a pay rate of $21.20 per hour.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly shopping environment by providing directions, supporting access-control procedures, and communicating professionally with law enforcement and emergency responders when needed.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
