GardaWorld Security Services California is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Tactical in Los Angeles, CA. You will patrol, verify identities, and respond to incidents while maintaining a strong observation and risk-aware approach.

The role emphasizes mobility around various environments, with uniform provided and opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, a valid BSIS Guard Card, and a valid driver's license; first aid is a plus and prior security or law enforcement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• State security license BSIS Guard Card required; 32-hour BSIS trainings needed or can be obtained during hiring process
• First aid certification is an asset or beneficial
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• Driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Qualifications Of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• First aid certification is an asset
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
• Must have driver's license
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
