Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted as per laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Devens, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
