As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Chambersburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail location, you will drive and conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License
  1. All candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the relevant state or territory regulations.
  2. The driver's license must be current and not expired at the time of application.
  3. Candidates must provide a copy of their driver's license during the application process.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Assist with access control, customer interactions, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
