Allied Universal® in Brownsburg, IN is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across transportation and logistics sites. The role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to site policies and safety procedures.

The position is full time with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and a night schedule: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun 11:00 PM–07:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and age 18+ for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screening are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing security procedures at a transportation/logistics site.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation and logistics location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, driver, and contractor check‑in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions through daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
