Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Digital Reporting in Pottstown, PA. The role focuses on unarmed security duties at a manufacturing/industrial site, with a visible presence to deter incidents and provide excellent service to employees and visitors.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour, with weekend shifts (Sat 2–10 PM, Sun 2–10 PM) and opportunities to explore additional shifts using our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access and verify credentials as directed; document visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM


• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.


• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.


• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.


• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
