Job summary

Allied Universal in Bristol, IN is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Deterrence to protect client sites across Tech/Media/Telecom environments. You will patrol, monitor access points, maintain a visible security presence, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
