Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Customer Support in Hebron, KY. You will serve clients, monitor facilities, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

In this full-time unarmed role, you will conduct patrols of distribution facilities, verify access, respond to incidents, and document activities using a tablet or computer. CPR is preferred; background checks and drug screens are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Monitor access by verifying visitor, driver, and contractor authorization.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate as needed.
• Document patrols and incidents and complete reports per procedures.

As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Support in Hebron, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and document security-related activities using computer or tablet technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, driver, and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
