Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Winchester, KY to provide customer service, patrol facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents while following site policies.

The role offers Saturday and Sunday shifts (07:30 AM–03:30 PM) with a flexible scheduling platform, training, and growth opportunities. Requirements include a high school diploma, 18+ years of age, and successful background checks.

• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following site procedures.
• Prepare timely activity and incident reports and share observations with site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, timely activity and incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
