Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced (Part Time) in Saint Louis, MO. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts. You will perform unarmed security duties, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and strong reliability. The job includes a six-month anchor shift and potential path to full-time roles with training and benefits.

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background investigation will be conducted.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility including loading areas, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry according to site procedures; maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify site contacts and responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities accurately per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Saint Louis, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security‑related activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
