Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol CPR Readiness in Arlington, VA. The role involves unarmed security duties across a technology environment, including access control, patrols, and providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, responding to incidents calmly, and maintaining professional incident reports. CPR certification is preferred, with background checks and drug screening per policy.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, observing entry and exit activity, and reporting unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a technology-focused corporate environment.
