Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Communications in Central Valley, NY to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other settings. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, assist customers and staff, and foster a welcoming environment through clear communication.

The role offers daytime/evening shifts with a pay rate of $19.00 - $20.00 per hour and opportunities to learn via our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, associates, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in a professional, discreet manner consistent with a luxury retail environment.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and local responders as needed.
