Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol Badge Verification in Birmingham, AL. The role involves unarmed patrols, access control, and excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

You will support patients, visitors, and staff by upholding security procedures, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible, helpful presence on site. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling through our shift platform.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as directed, and helping maintain orderly access for authorized individuals.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
