Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Control in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to support security-related operations, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly beneficial and may enhance a candidate's application:

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Experience in managing access control systems or badge issuance is advantageous for positions requiring security and access management.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential for roles that involve digital communication, data entry, or software usage.
• CPR Certification (B205): Candidates with CPR certification will be preferred for positions that involve health and safety responsibilities.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): Previous experience in customer service is beneficial for roles that require interaction with clients or the public.
  
  

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense billing operations location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
