Requirements

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management to ensure security protocols are followed.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202) Familiarity with alarm panel systems is required to maintain safety and security within the workplace.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential for daily operations and communication.
• CPR Certification Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and clients. Allied Universal offers free paid training for all new hires to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.
• Customer Service Experience (B219) Previous experience in customer service is highly valued, as it contributes to a positive work environment and enhances client relations.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Support a professional environment at an aerospace and defense-related location while maintaining accurate daily activity and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
