Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following established protocols and contacting emergency responders when required.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately in reports and communicate information to leadership and contacts.

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, laboratories, offices, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual conditions and support site operations.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency responders when required.


• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
