Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Patrol Associate in Salinas, CA. You will patrol production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service at a food and beverage site.

This unarmed position requires reliable communication with site contacts, incident reporting, and adherence to site policies. Pay is $18.90 per hour with a part-time schedule and varied shifts including weekdays and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Verify entry permissions for authorized personnel and deliveries per site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents in required reports and report concerns to site personnel.

• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities in required reports, and report maintenance, access control, and/or operational concerns to appropriate site personnel.

Security Officer Patrol Associate – SALINAS, CA

As a part‑time unarmed officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, remain visible to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.90 per hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
