Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using an alarm panel is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
