Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, campus grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating to site leadership, emergency services, and management as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security observations.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to customer needs with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, campus grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal management as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
