Allied Universal in Waltham, MA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Support. Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws; drug screen required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; escalate as needed.
• Complete reports and logs related to patrols and incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, delivery, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation related to patrols, observations, and security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
