As a Security Officer CPR Preparedness in Richardson, TX, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support access control while providing excellent customer service.

You will respond to incidents calmly, document observations, and collaborate with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communication with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial real estate location, including building areas, access points, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control systems, visitor activity, and alarm notifications; document observations and report unusual conditions according to site-specific procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications while supporting a professional environment for tenants, visitors, and employees.
