• Know life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV and access control for duties.

Responsibilities

• Be on time and report to post in full uniform.
• Maintain professional image with greeting customers, visitors and employees.
• Be proactive in knowing revisions to post orders and information from customer and AFS.
• Patrol property or fixed post, report suspicious activity and investigate incidents.
• Monitor cameras or equipment as per post orders.
• Know emergency policies to respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports and relevant logs.
• Recommend improvements for safety and loss prevention.
• Understand life safety systems and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Ensure training and compliance guidelines are met per AFS and regulators.
• Communicate daily with Security Supervisor on new issues or changes.
