Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Tallmadge, OH.

You will deliver customer service, monitor access, conduct unarmed patrols through manufacturing and industrial locations, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed logs. Schedule is Sat and Sun, 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and situations calmly and document activities per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing/industrial areas and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report access control concerns to site leadership.
• Complete detailed activity, incident, and daily logs with professional presence.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access control concerns or unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
