You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service. Use technology to document observations and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, production facilities, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
