Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Dade City, FL. The role involves safeguarding residents, performing unarmed patrols of a residential community, and maintaining a visible security presence during scheduled night shifts.

You will document activity, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professional, calm problem-solving. The schedule runs Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a pay rate of $17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community procedures, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
