Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Fife, WA. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide customer service and security presence at a technology-focused location.

The position offers flexible scheduling and a pay rate of $21.85 per hour, with opportunities to advance through our Earn More platform. Prior security experience is preferred and you will work with a collaborative, safety-driven team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking and entry points, reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and report incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports in line with site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
