Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Eden, NC to monitor campus areas, provide customer service to students and staff, and deter security incidents through visible presence.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, and documenting incidents. The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and pass background checks per law.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Eden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an educational location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, observations, patrols, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
