Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Delta, UT to safeguard clients at a utility location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver courteous customer service while following site procedures.

This full-time position offers $21.60 per hour, daytime hours, and opportunities for training and career growth within Allied Universal. You will document incidents, respond to alarms, and collaborate with the team to keep people and property

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Background check required by law
• Drug screen required by law
• Driver's license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site security procedures
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas; report conditions
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, deliveries, and visitors
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify site contacts and responders
• Prepare clear activity reports and shift handoff communications

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utility operations location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and restricted zones, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
