Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Danville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors, and employees. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail employees by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security‑related activities accurately and promptly in required reports.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
