Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Dallas, TX to protect people and property at a transportation location. You will provide friendly customer service, monitor access points, and conduct unarmed patrols to deter incidents.

The schedule includes Thursday and Sunday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with a pay rate of $18.11 per hour. Minimum requirements include being 18+, high school diploma, and ability to pass background and drug screening; CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with supervisors and site contacts regarding incidents and daily activities.

Pay Rate: $18.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
