Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Bridgeport, AL to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. The role emphasizes customer service, visible patrols, and strict adherence to site policies to deter incidents and ensure a safe environment.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, document events, and respond calmly to alarms while coordinating with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee entry in accordance with site requirements, documenting activity as required.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
