Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer Patrol in Danville, IL. This full-time role involves unarmed patrols, customer service to employees and visitors, and enforcement of site procedures at a manufacturing location.

You will monitor access points, document observations, respond to incidents, and communicate with site leadership while maintaining a professional presence on shift.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, exits, and observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following emergency procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports and report maintenance concerns to site leadership.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, exits, and relevant observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
