Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Bessemer, AL. You will protect clients across various industries, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Position offers daytime shifts and a pay rate of $17.46 per hour, with the option to build a flexible schedule and explore new roles using our platform.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Communicate clearly and maintain a professional presence while monitoring security incidents and enforcing access control.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
