Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, employees, and customers while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations at educational and financial facilities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization per site policies and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following escalation procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately in required reports and share information with site contacts and leadership.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution and education locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate professionally with staff, students, visitors, and customers, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, employees, and customers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations at educational and financial-services facilities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and communicate pertinent information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
