Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun12:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
