Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, in Republic, MO, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with X-ray screening expertise. You will provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees and support site operations using our shift-claim platform.

The role includes unarmed patrols, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, comfort with computers, X-ray screening experience,

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology location, including building interiors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while helping to deter unwanted activity through a visible professional presence.

What You'll Do:
