Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, document visitor and contractor arrivals, and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to loading areas, employee entrances, and restricted spaces while reporting unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, varying by client site.

Pay Rate: $18.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, document visitor and contractor arrivals, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to loading areas, employee entrances, and restricted operational spaces while reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
