Allied Universal in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to safeguard clients across technology-focused locations. As an unarmed officer, you will patrol, monitor access, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, and perimeters; report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per protocol.
• Document daily activities and incidents; communicate updates to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, common spaces, parking areas, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
